Complete Liver Cleanse
What does the liver do?
The liver is probably one of the buzziest, and most essential organs in the human body. If it is damaged, your body will not function properly, and without a liver you will die. The liver is located under your ribcage, on the upper right side of your abdomen. The liver’s job is to do the following:
- Regulates hormone levels
- Purifies the blood and removes old blood cells
- Aids in digestion and distributes nutrients from food
- Maintains blood sugar levels and stores glucose
- Filters toxins from the body
We are now living in an era where the body is exposed to more chemicals, pollutants, poisons and toxins, than in previous generations. The added pollutants the human body is subjected to, gives the liver more work to do than ever before. If the liver is overburdened it can not filter out everything it should, so it makes choices. Not everything gets filtered out, and toxins get stuck. These trapped toxins in the body can cause health problems. This is why it is considered a good preventative practice to do a complete liver cleanse to remove the buildup. This can be done by consuming a combination of herbs designed to cleanse the liver, and by making some dietary changes.
